**Structural Project Engineer**

Are you looking to work for an award-winning structural engineering company on a permanent basis? My client is looking for a Structural Project Engineer to join their ever-growing team and cement themselves as a vital part of the Structures team. If you are eager to learn and mentor peers, this could be the job for you.

The successful Structural Project Engineer will need:

  • Accredited degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering (high 2:1 or 1st Class)
  • Hold or be working towards Chartered status (IStructE or ICE).
  • IT literate with experience of structural design software packages and Microsoft Office
  • Technically competent and understand the fundamental stability requirements of structures and construction details.

The role:

  • Responsible for the analysis and design of building structures, progressing to overall design of structures
  • The production of schematic/concept designs and structural design calculations within defined project timescales
  • Undertaking structural designs using ROBOT or TEKLA and by hand as required
  • Directing technicians in the production of AutoCAD and REVIT drawing information undertaking and quality reviews of drawn information prior to issue
