Position Overview: As a Junior Structural Technician, you’ll play a pivotal role in their team, working closely with seasoned engineers. Your responsibilities will include utilising CAD and Revit software to create technical drawings, contributing to large-scale projects, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to create precise technical drawings and plans using CAD and Revit software.
  • Assist in the development of structural designs, calculations, and specifications for significant projects.
  • Contribute to the creation of comprehensive construction documents, including detailed plans, elevations, sections, and relevant details.
  • Participate in site visits and surveys to gather crucial data for major project assessments.
  • Utilise CAD and Revit software to assist in generating 2D and 3D models of structural elements.
  • Maintain strict adherence to relevant building codes and standards.

Qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD and Revit software, with experience in creating technical drawings and 3D models.
  • A passion for structural engineering principles and construction practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision in drafting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment.
  • Previous experience in structural engineering is advantageous but not mandatory.
