Talent Acquisition Coordinator

location: London/Bicester (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £35-40k

My client is a very well-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy with a strong focus on sustainability within the built environment. They are looking for an individual to come on board to focus on attracting new talent for a number of the companies across a number of different sectors within the business. You will work closely with the HR team, hiring managers and senior leadership to support the recruitment needs of the business.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of a strong sourcing strategy to secure key talent hires in line with the strategic growth of the business
  • Liaise with the HR team to understand and identify immediate and future resource requirements
  • Ensure consistent data maintenance with systems and processes in relation to resource and recruitment
  • Participate to the improvement of HR processes related to recruitment and onboarding
  • Assist the HR team in industry salary benchmarking and other research-related exercises as required
  • Coordinate with external recruitment partners
  • Coordinating the full recruitment process comprising: sourcing candidates, arranging interviews, candidate testing, candidate liaison, selection and offer.
  • Resource candidates directly through job boards, LinkedIn and other direct means
  • Management of administration external job board vacancies as well as the website
  • Maintenance of reporting and statistics related to recruitment, reporting to the HR Team monthly and as required
  • Short-listing candidates and providing support for the final decision process
  • Undertake initial right-to-work and immigration checks for candidates who are being presented and interviewing

The ideal candidate:

  • 3+ years in recruitment or an equivalent talent acquisition role
  • CIPD qualification (desirable)
  • Degree qualified or equivalent HR qualification
  • Intermediate knowledge of other MS Office applications including Outlook, MS Teams and Skype
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, with the ability to maintain and manipulate data
  • Confidential and discreet and have a proactive team ethos
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise own workload
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good understanding of HR and recruitment processes and terminology
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Background in talent acquisition within consulting or construction (desirable)
