Intermediate Fire Engineer Job, Berkshire Job Description

Are you an ambitious intermediate Fire Engineer looking for your next role to develop your career? A Berkshire based consultancy is seeking exactly you!

They are looking for someone who can:

  • Develop fire engineering strategies in line with BS 9999, BS9991, BS 7974, Approved Document B, and other relevant Fire Protection Standards.
  • Design and assess active fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, water mist systems, and gaseous suppression systems.
  • Conduct fire risk assessments and provide technical fire safety advice to clients.
  • Assist in CFD modelling and fire simulations where required.
  • Conduct Fire systems design in BIM software (i.e. Revit) for integration with other disciplines.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with UK fire safety regulations.
  • Prepare technical reports, fire safety statements, and evacuation strategies.
  • Support senior engineers in project delivery and mentor junior team members.

You should have at least 2 years’ UK experience.
