Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Birmingham

The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join an established engineering consultancy delivering major commercial, residential, mixed-use and infrastructure schemes across the Midlands and beyond.
You’ll take ownership of project delivery, build strong client relationships and contribute to the design of sustainable electrical building services solutions across a diverse portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design projects across multiple sectors.
- Design and specify power, lighting, emergency systems and associated infrastructure.
- Manage project programmes and technical quality.
- Collaborate with clients, architects and design teams.
- Support business development opportunities where appropriate.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers.
- Conduct site inspections and technical reviews.
About You
- Electrical or Building Services Engineering degree.
- Proven Building Services consultancy experience.
- Strong project delivery and client-facing skills.
- Knowledge of UK regulations and design standards.
- Experience with Revit, DIALux and Amtech software.
- Chartered or working towards chartership.
