The Opportunity As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will become a key member of a thriving structural engineering team based in Greater Manchester. Working within a well-established multidisciplinary environment, you’ll be trusted to lead projects, manage client relationships, and support the development of junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects from feasibility through to completion.
• Manage and coordinate project delivery, ensuring quality, programme, and budget objectives are achieved.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor and support graduate and junior engineers.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across structural, civil, bridges, and infrastructure disciplines.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
• Contribute to business development activities and identify opportunities for future work.
• Support the continued growth and development of the structures team.

What You’ll Need

• Experience working as a Senior Structural Engineer within a consultancy environment.
• Ideally Chartered status or working towards chartership with a recognised professional body.
• Strong understanding of UK design standards and engineering principles.
• Experience delivering building structures projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior engineers.
• Commercial awareness and an interest in contributing to business growth would be highly advantageous.
