A well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to recruit a Structural Engineer to join its growing team in the Hertfordshire area. With a strong reputation across residential, commercial and regeneration projects, this consultancy offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of developments while receiving structured support towards professional and technical progression.  

The successful Structural Engineer will become part of a close-knit and experienced team, delivering innovative structural solutions for both private and public sector clients across the UK.  

We Are Looking For A Structural Engineer Who: 

• Has a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering;
• Has at least 3 years’ experience working within a structural engineering consultancy;
• Possesses a strong understanding of UK design standards and Eurocodes;
• Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills;
• Is able to work independently whilst contributing effectively within a collaborative team;
• Is working towards, or interested in pursuing, Chartership with the ICE or IStructE.

As The Successful Structural Engineer, You Will: 

• Undertake structural design and analysis for a range of building projects;
• Prepare calculations, technical reports and design sketches;
• Review and check drawings to ensure technical accuracy;
• Coordinate with clients, architects and external consultants;
• Manage your workload effectively and deliver projects to agreed deadlines;
• Contribute to technical development and continuous improvement initiatives within the business.

Package 

• £36,000 – £46,000

• Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
• Flexible working with core hours of 10am – 4pm
