We are recruiting for a leading engineering and infrastructure consultancy seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Lead to support the delivery of high-profile hyperscale data center projects across the United States.

The Role As an Electrical Engineering Lead, you will take ownership of the electrical design and delivery of large-scale data centre infrastructure projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring performance, reliability, efficiency, and compliance across complex power systems while leading multidisciplinary project teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the design and implementation of electrical systems for hyperscale data centres.
- Deliver medium and low-voltage power distribution solutions.
- Support backup power and emergency power system design.
- Oversee electrical schematics, technical drawings, and bills of materials.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, and relevant industry standards.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and engineering teams to develop project specifications and budgets.
- Analyse electrical systems for capacity planning, load balancing, and energy optimisation.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineers within the team.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout project delivery.
- Contribute to the successful execution of large, complex engineering projects.
What You’ll Need
- Strong experience as an Electrical Engineering Lead, Senior Electrical Engineer, or similar leadership role.
- Proven background delivering data centre or mission-critical facility projects.
- Expertise in electrical power distribution systems and infrastructure design.
- Strong understanding of NEC, IEC, and relevant electrical regulations.
- Experience leading engineering teams and client relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple technical deliverables across complex projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional Engineering registration or equivalent would be advantageous.
