Estimator Job Description
Location: London
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum plus car allowance & package
Are you an experienced Estimator looking to make a significant impact in the construction industry? Join our dynamic work-winning team and play a crucial role in preparing detailed and accurate pricing for tenders, supporting clients with early contractor involvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to company governance procedures.
Collaborate with the Bid Manager to ensure competitive pricing.
Provide cost-effective design options and price alternative solutions.
Develop local rates and build up rates for self-delivered items.
Liaise with procurement to select and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare comprehensive pricing documentation for tender submissions.
Coordinate with various teams to ensure all client requirements are met.
Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of civil infrastructure engineering and construction techniques.
Experience in industries such as Nuclear, Advanced Technologies, Defence, and Highways.
Previous experience with a Tier 1 Contractor.
Understanding of relevant procurement legislation and commercial awareness of different forms of contract.
Proficiency in estimating software packages.
