As the Construction Superintendent, you will oversee all site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, maintaining construction schedules, managing documentation, and ensuring successful project execution from start to finish.

You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior site leaders and contribute to continuous improvement across project delivery teams.
What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading day-to-day site operations across major construction projects
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel
• Maintaining project schedules and driving productivity improvements
• Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements
• Negotiating and managing change orders where required
• Monitoring project progress and proactively resolving site issues
• Organising inspections, materials procurement and project documentation
• Maintaining accurate project records and document control systems
• Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
• Supporting, mentoring and developing junior Superintendents
• Maintaining a professional, organised and productive job site
• Assisting with recruitment, training, performance management and leadership of site teams

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
• Alternatively, significant equivalent construction leadership experience
• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent on large-scale construction projects
• Strong scheduling, planning and organisational skills
• Experience managing subcontractors, inspectors and multiple site activities
• Strong understanding of document control and project reporting
• OSHA safety certification and in-depth knowledge of safety regulations
• Experience with Microsoft Office, scheduling software and construction document management systems
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
• Ability to travel to project sites when required
