Senior Construction Scheduler | $170,000-$190,000 + Excellent Benefits | Major Industrial & Infrastructure Projects
I am recruiting for a leading construction and infrastructure organisation that delivers some of the most complex industrial, power, aviation and commercial projects across the United States.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Construction Scheduler to join a well-established business with significant financial backing, a strong project pipeline, and genuine long-term career prospects. You’ll work on high-profile projects, influence delivery outcomes, and play a key role in project controls across large-scale construction programmes.
The Role As a Senior Construction Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and analysing project schedules across complex construction projects. You will work closely with project teams, stakeholders and clients to drive scheduling excellence, provide critical project insights, and ensure successful project delivery.
This role offers exposure to major industrial and infrastructure developments while providing the support, resources and stability of a national organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain detailed cost and resource-loaded schedules using Primavera P6
- Establish, monitor and control project baselines and reporting systems
- Build and maintain critical path schedules and logic networks
- Analyse project performance against baseline schedules
- Forecast project progress and identify potential schedule risks
- Conduct schedule reviews and provide recommendations to project teams
- Evaluate the impact of design changes, delays and construction variations
- Perform Time Impact Analysis and schedule delay assessments
- Produce clear scheduling reports for clients, stakeholders and senior management
- Support earned value analysis, forecasting and project controls activities
- Travel to project sites across the United States to attend planning and schedule review meetings
- Provide technical guidance and support on scheduling best practices
What You’ll Need
- 10+ years’ experience as a Construction Scheduler within large-scale construction projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6
- Experience developing and managing resource-loaded construction schedules
- Strong understanding of critical path methodology (CPM)
- Ability to analyse contractor schedules and assess project progress
- Experience performing Time Impact Analysis
- Knowledge of project controls and reporting processes
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel throughout the United States
Desirable Experience
- Industrial construction project experience
- Cost estimating experience
- Knowledge of project controls software such as Sage 300 CRE or Timberline
- PMI or AACEI certification
