Growing construction and infrastructure organisation seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of large-scale commercial, industrial and design-build data center projects across the United States.

The Role As Project Director, you will provide strategic oversight across multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to successful client handover. You will lead senior project teams, drive commercial performance, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

This position requires up to 100% travel across project locations throughout the United States.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead multiple large-scale construction projects simultaneously.
• Provide leadership to Senior Project Managers, Project Managers and site teams.
• Develop and execute project delivery strategies from concept through completion.
• Manage project performance, budgets, schedules and profitability.
• Oversee contract negotiations, risk management and change control processes.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Drive health, safety, environmental and quality performance across projects.
• Review project controls, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Support business development activities, bid strategies and proposal development.
• Mentor and develop future project leaders within the organisation.
• Ensure successful project close-out and client satisfaction.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline.
• 15+ years’ experience operating at Senior Project Manager level within commercial or industrial construction.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Project Director or equivalent leadership role.
• Proven experience managing projects exceeding $250M in value.
• Strong design-build project delivery experience.
• Advanced knowledge of project controls, budgeting and value engineering.
• Experience using Primavera P6 for planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Procore and construction accounting platforms such as Sage or similar systems.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract management expertise.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the US.
• Spanish language skills would be advantageous.
