The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Associate Director to lead a multi-disciplinary team on technically challenging and high-profile projects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering outstanding service to clients, while supporting the strategic growth and development of the business. This is a leadership role that requires a balance of technical expertise, team leadership, and commercial insight.
Key Responsibilities
As Associate Director / Director, you will be responsible for:

Leading and managing a high-performing team within your office or functional group

Acting as a technical or sector lead in one or more key areas

Ensuring successful project delivery with a focus on quality and client satisfaction

Contributing to long-term strategic planning and business development

Overseeing recruitment, performance, and professional development of team members

Promoting continuous learning and sharing of knowledge across teams

Managing financial performance, including profitability and cash flow

Procuring new business and negotiating significant client or supplier agreements

Serving as a subject matter expert within your region or discipline

Resolving complex challenges and providing sound technical direction

Leading with integrity and promoting a culture of respect, inclusion, and fairness
Requirements

Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent professional accreditation

Recognised expertise and leadership experience within the engineering consultancy sector

Strong track record of project delivery and team management

Excellent commercial, communication, and interpersonal skills
