We’re partnering with a leading building services consultancy seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Manchester team. You’ll work on high-profile projects across commercial, healthcare, retail, and residential sectors, delivering innovative and sustainable electrical designs.

The Role

You’ll design and manage electrical services for a wide range of projects, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams. You’ll be client-facing, producing technical reports and specifications, and have the opportunity to supervise and mentor junior engineers.

You’ll work in a 3D design environment, using Revit and other design tools, with training provided for MagiCAD and StabiCAD, and help deliver technically excellent, sustainable designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver electrical building services across multiple sectors.

• Produce technical specifications, reports, and design documentation.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams.

• Mentor junior engineers and support team development.

• Manage project delivery independently and collaboratively.

• Work in a 3D design environment using Revit, with awareness of cable sizing and lighting design tools.

• Support business development and client engagement activities.

About You

• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

• Chartered, or working towards Chartered Status in building services engineering.

• Experience across multiple sectors, including commercial, healthcare, and residential.

• Proficient in Revit; knowledge of MagiCAD/StabiCAD desirable.

• Excellent communication skills, adaptable for clients, colleagues, and team members.

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.

• Experience in people management is desirable.

• Proactive, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.
