THE SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER (MEP) ROLE

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will act as a discipline lead, responsible for HVAC system design, coordination, and delivery across multiple projects.

You will take ownership of design outputs while working closely with clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality, buildable solutions. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead HVAC system design, selection, and engineering

• Prepare drawings, calculations, specifications, and analysis

• Oversee and support junior mechanical engineers

• Conduct site visits and construction administration activities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated solutions

• Engage with clients and stakeholders throughout project delivery

• Ensure compliance with US codes and industry standards

• Deliver high-quality, technically sound mechanical designs

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER (MEP) ROLE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 10+ years’ experience within MEP / HVAC design 

• Professional Engineering (PE) licence

• Strong HVAC design and technical expertise

• Experience across healthcare, commercial, or institutional projects 

• Strong client-facing and communication skills

• Knowledge of US codes and standards
