About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team on a 6-week contract to support pricing and tendering for highways and civil infrastructure projects.

You’ll be working with a well-established civil infrastructure contractor, and your main focus will be preparing accurate cost estimates for current and upcoming highway projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed estimates for civil infrastructure works, particularly in the highways sector

• Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation to understand the scope

• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing

• Support the bid team with pricing and cost breakdowns

• Assist with risk identification and value engineering

• Ensure estimates are aligned with client requirements and deadlines

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the civil infrastructure and highways sector

• Must have worked with a Tier 1 contractor

• Strong understanding of pricing for roadworks, drainage, earthworks, and related civil works

• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

• Proficient in estimating software and Excel
