⚡ Senior Authorised Person (SAP) – Up to 132kV | Multiple Locations | Up to £65,000
Are you an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) ready to take the lead on high-voltage electrical projects? We’re hiring for a permanent, full-time SAP to support critical infrastructure across Slough, Southampton, Poole, Bristol, or Swansea.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Carrying out LV & HV/EHV switching, isolation, earthing, and issuing safety documentation (PTW, SFT).

Planning outages, producing switching programmes, and liaising with System Control.

Leading fault restoration and emergency response on networks up to 132kV.

Managing and supervising Jointer and Fitter teams.

Providing technical expertise and mentoring trainee SAPs.

Supporting clients with engineering solutions and full project management for smaller works.

Promoting a positive safety culture through SHE plans, RAMS reviews, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
What You’ll Need:

Authorisation to conduct switching operations from 11kV to 33kV (132kV advantageous).

Current DNO or equivalent Certificate of Authorisation.

Strong technical knowledge of DNO switchgear and associated plant.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Familiarity with current regulations, standards, and codes of practice.

Salary: £44,043 to £65,232 (up to £79,000 for 45-hour week with existing authorisations)
