We’re working with one of the UK’s largest and most respected contractors, known for their innovative approach and ability to deliver complex projects across electrical infrastructure, EV charging, street lighting, and more.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Authorised Person, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of HV/LV networks. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing LV & HV/EHV switching, isolation, earthing, and issuing safety documentation.

• Planning outages and creating switching schedules.

• Leading fault restoration and emergency response operations.

• Supervising jointer and fitter teams on-site.

• Providing technical expertise and mentoring to junior team members.

This is a site-based role with regional travel, occasional weekend work, and on-call duties.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Authorisation to switch from LV to 11kV (33kV preferred).

• Strong knowledge of DNO switchgear and associated plant.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• A proactive attitude towards safety and operational excellence.

• Familiarity with current regulations, standards, and codes of practice.

Bonus: 132kV authorisations are a plus!
