Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer (Buildings)

The Opportunity: We are seeking a talented Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the chance to lead and deliver high-quality electrical engineering services on a variety of exciting projects. You will work closely with clients, project teams, and other disciplines to ensure successful project execution from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Manage medium-sized projects and multiple smaller projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.

Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and ensuring their requirements are met.

Design and Coordination: Develop and coordinate engineering project services for electrical installations, systems, and equipment.

Technical Oversight: Conduct engineering calculations, validate designs, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Mentorship: Support and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Site Support: Perform site inspections, QA/QC checks, and witness testing to ensure alignment with design intent.
Skills & Qualifications:

Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Chartered Engineer status preferred).

Extensive experience in electrical design within the building services sector.

Proficiency in design software such as Revit, Bluebeam, and Trimble/AMTECH.

Strong knowledge of BS standards, CDM Regulations, and Health & Safety legislation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead client meetings and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
