This is an opportunity for an Associate Director / Director – Smart Buildings & Places (Technical Lead) in Bristol or London (Leeds or Manchester also considered), to work on some of the world’s most iconic, cutting-edge and innovative developments across the globe.

 

 

Role scope:

 

  • Responsible and accountable in a Technical Leadership role across relevant projects, supporting delivery of projects within the target quality, commercial and financial objectives.

  • Taking ownership for key client and collaborator relationships and working as a “trusted advisor” on smart buildings consultancy, both internally and externally.

  • Inspiring technical excellence in the smart buildings space, providing leadership to key clients and collaborators across our global project portfolio.

  • Providing technical leadership to the team with respect to buildings systems design, driving innovation and continuous development in their ‘smart’ capabilities.

  • Leading end to end smart building design projects ensuring the client brief is delivered effectively and efficiently while supporting project team members and delivering commercial excellence.

  • Winning work and cultivating client relationships in the smart buildings space.

  • Driving collaboration with Smart Buildings teams in other regions.

     

 

What you’ll need to bring to this role:

 

  • Extensive experience in Smart Buildings end to end design, ideally with experience in consulting or advisory as well as engineering design

  • Significant experience across multiple building systems demonstrating a passion for technology and innovation in this context.

  • Experience leading multi-client stakeholder groups on smart buildings projects.

  • Well-networked with both clients and collaborators in the smart buildings sector, and able to demonstrate evidence of work-winning success.

  • Relevant technical qualifications – e.g. building services, mechanical/electrical/electronic, control systems, etc.
