Our client is experiencing continued growth and is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Building Services Designer to join their expanding team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to progress their career while supporting the management and development of a growing electrical engineering design team.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing designs across the full spectrum of building services.

• Contributing to the preparation and ongoing development of health and safety plans and documentation.

• Conducting troubleshooting related to energy usage and internal environmental conditions, as well as preparing surveys, reports, schedules, dilapidation studies, and feasibility assessments.

• Preparing and planning maintenance specifications and procedures, along with contract management and reporting.

• Leading energy strategy development and ensuring Part L compliance for projects.

• Maintaining strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.

• Assisting in the preparation of fee proposals and negotiating appointments with clients (subject to director approval).

• Supporting the development and progression of team members, including succession planning.

   

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in electrical building services design.

• Strong team player with the ability to perform under pressure.

• Committed to meeting client expectations and delivering project objectives on time and within scope.

• Willingness to contribute to business development efforts and help promote the company’s profile.
