About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Colchester. This role involves providing comprehensive surveying services across various sectors, including defense, bluelight, education, healthcare, and commercial projects ranging from £500k to £15m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cost control from initial budget advice to final account settlement.

• Prepare cost plans, budgets, and contract documents.

• Collaborate with design teams to inform project costs.

• Conduct tender analysis and make recommendations.

• Support Project Managers with cost advice during site visits.

• Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying with 2+ years of experience.

• MRICS chartered status or working towards it.

• Knowledge of traditional and modern construction techniques.

• Understanding of Building Regulations and allied legislation.
