YOUR NEW ROLE

As Senior Electrical Engineer – Data Centres, you will play a pivotal role in delivering projects at the forefront of technology, working in close collaboration with specialists in:

• Mechanical & Electrical Engineering

• Architecture

• Civil & Structural Engineering

• Project & Cost Management

• Sustainability, Building Physics, and Acoustics

This is a role where your technical expertise, collaborative mindset, and problem-solving ability will be put to work on some of the most ambitious infrastructure projects in the world.

You will:

• Lead the electrical design delivery on small to mid-sized projects and take ownership of assigned packages on larger schemes.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.

• Liaise confidently with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders at every stage.

• Carry out design work in accordance with regulations, standards, and industry best practice.

• Provide specialist technical input into feasibility studies, reports, and project proposals.

• Undertake site inspections and oversee quality on-site.

• Apply forward-thinking and innovative approaches to engineering challenges.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Chartered Engineer (or working towards) with the IET, CIBSE, or similar professional body.

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).

• Proven post-graduate experience in building services electrical design – ideally with exposure to data centres or other mission-critical/industrial facilities.

• Proficiency in ETAP, Relux/Dialux, MS Project, AutoCAD, and Revit.

• Ability to deliver designs across all RIBA stages and manage your workload effectively.

• A collaborative, solutions-focused approach, with excellent communication skills.

• Full driving licence and passport, with willingness to travel within the UK and overseas.

• Eligibility for Security Clearance for certain high-profile projects.
