Principal AV Consultant – Dubai, UAE (33k AED-38k AED)

A leading multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking an experienced AV Consultant to join their dynamic team in Dubai, working on high-profile projects across hospitality, corporate, cultural, and public sectors.

Role Overview

As an AV Consultant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design of advanced AV systems, from concept development through to final commissioning. You’ll collaborate with architects, engineers, and technology specialists to deliver integrated solutions that meet the highest standards of performance and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design AV systems including professional audio, video conferencing, LED walls, projection, digital signage, and control platforms (e.g., Crestron, AMX).
• Use EASE software for electro-acoustic modelling to ensure optimal sound performance.
• Produce detailed technical documentation including layouts, schematics, and performance specifications.
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and IT teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Advise on technology selection aligned with project functionality and budget.
• Provide site support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.

Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in AV design or consultancy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Audio Technology, or related field (preferred).
• Essential: Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) from AVIXA; CTS-D is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in EASE, AutoCAD, and/or Revit.
• Experience with AV-over-IP, DSP platforms (e.g., Q-SYS, Biamp), and large-format display technologies.
• Strong understanding of PAVA systems and collaboration platforms.
