Salary: £45,000 – £70,000 per annum, DOE

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our client’s team in Bristol. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing electrical systems for a variety of projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge designs and contribute to the company’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Documentation: Prepare designs, calculations, specifications, and tender documentation.

• Conduct surveys, attend meetings, and inspect installation works.

• Generate reports, meeting minutes, and other related documentation.

• Utilise design software such as 2D AutoCAD, 3D Revit, RELUX, and Amtech.

• Ensure designs meet relevant regulations and standards.

• Evaluate contractors’ designs, proposals, and value engineering suggestions.

• Work with internal staff to meet project deliverables and set design strategies.

• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in electrical engineering design and implementation.

• Strong knowledge of design software and electrical systems.

• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.

• Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
