I joined Energi People last week as Senior Talent Consultant. I am bringing in a decade of experience from an international Consultancy firm. I recruited for all level of roles across Design & Engineering, Project Management, Cost & Commercial Management, Site Supervision, Scientist & Specialist business lines. I have partnered with talents and stakeholders across Middle East, United Kingdom and APAC countries and contributed largely in driving down the cost of hire of the business.

Fun fact about my recruitment career

It started by an accident! I joined a local staffing firm deploying Filipino workers abroad as an Executive Assistant to the President. I can still remember, it was a busy month for everyone in the company and the manpower demand of our clients abroad became overwhelming for everyone. From initially assisting our President with client queries, I developed a good business relationship with them and my referred candidates were successfully hired. It was a rewarding feeling being instrumental to improving the quality of life of my fellow Filipino. Then I realised, I enjoyed the work and wanted to do more!

I then opened up other doors of opportunity within international staffing firms. I recruited local medical professionals for National Health Service in UK, some Graphic Designers, Engineers of various disciplines and even skilled workers for Middle East countries.

Becoming an Energizor

And now, after some wonderful months of career break, James Mowat (Associate Director at Energi People) reached out to me on LinkedIn and with his very professional and natural charm of convincing Talents, and invited me to join his team. As Senior Talent Consultant, it feels really great to be doing things you are passionate about while having that work life balance. Finding top talents and fulfilling their dream of working on the best project of their career is such a rewarding feeling. Witnessing them grow their skills and contributing to the organisations success is a such a fulfilling experience.
