As an Energi People Account Manager, you will have the best tools and technology to assist you in developing your business and your clients, supported by ongoing learning and development from internal and external sources to help you build on your skills and grow your career.
A combination of resourcing, recruiting, account development and account management skills are required. Along with these account managers must be able to demonstrate mentoring, leadership, and coaching characteristics.
Main Responsibilities of an Account Manger
- Account Management – Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to ensure their needs are met, and they remain satisfied with the company’s services and delivery.
- Customer Retention: Implementing strategies to retain clients and reduce churn by providing exceptional service and addressing any issues promptly.
- Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identifying opportunities to offer additional products or services to existing clients to increase revenue.
- Understanding Client Needs – Requirement Gathering: Collaborating with clients to understand their hiring needs, job specifications, and company culture.
- Job Descriptions: Creating detailed job descriptions based on client requirements.
- CV Screening: Reviewing CV to shortlist candidates who meet the job criteria.
- Business Development – Client Research: Conducting research to identify new opportunities within existing accounts and trends that can be leveraged for business growth.
- Lead Generation: Identifying and pursuing potential business within existing clients through various channels such as networking, referrals, and online research.
- Strategic Partnerships: Establishing partnerships with other businesses to expand the company’s reach and capabilities.
- Sales Strategy and Planning – Goal Setting: Establishing clear objectives and targets for both account management and business development activities.
- Sales Planning: Developing and implementing sales plans to achieve the set goals, including identifying key accounts and potential new clients.
- Performance Analysis – Metrics and KPIs: Monitoring key performance indicators such as client satisfaction, vacancy rates, vacancy fill rates, cv to interview ratios, interview to placement ratios and revenue growth from new business.
- Continuous Improvement: Analysing performance data to identify areas for improvement in delivery and refine strategies accordingly.
- Candidate Sourcing Management – Sourcing: Working with the delivery team to source and manage the sourcing of candidates who meet the job criteria.
- Active Sourcing: Proactively searching for candidates using tools like the database, LinkedIn, job boards, and referrals.
- Collaboration and Communication Team Coordination: Working closely with other departments such as marketing, operations, delivery to ensure a cohesive approach to client management and business development.
- Feedback Loop: Providing insights and feedback to improve products and services based on client and candidate interactions.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- A proven track record of strong successful placements, both with existing clients and development of new accounts
- A desire to want to play a core role in significantly scaling a business.
