SHE Advisor – Contract Role | South West England

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SHE Advisor to join a leading UK-based contractor with over 25 years of industry expertise. This organisation is renowned for delivering high-quality services across mechanical, electrical, high voltage, EV infrastructure, and street lighting projects.

Location: South West England

Your Role:

As a SHE Advisor, you’ll be instrumental in driving safety, health, and environmental standards across multiple regional projects. You’ll:

  • Monitor SHE performance at regional and depot levels.

  • Report on best practices and areas for improvement.

  • Support the development and implementation of SHE initiatives.

  • Investigate incidents and share lessons learned.

  • Review health & safety documentation (RAMS, CPPs).

  • Deliver toolbox talks and wellbeing campaigns.

  • Advise site teams on SHE compliance and legislation.


What We’re Looking For:

  • A proactive and passionate SHE professional.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

  • Background in Construction, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or DNO.

  • NEBOSH Certificate (minimum requirement).

  • Competence in incident investigation and trend analysis.

  • Excellent IT skills (Teams, Excel, Databases).

  • IOSH or IEMA membership (desirable).
