A leading M&E consultancy is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Principal/Associate Mechanical Engineer to join their Surrey office. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a minimum of seven years’ industry experience, capable of running medium-sized projects and excelling in client-facing roles.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage medium-sized engineering projects from inception to completion.

Develop, design, and coordinate engineering project services while maintaining strong client relationships.

Design and specify mechanical building systems, equipment, and components.

Collaborate with architects, project managers, and structural engineers to ensure project success.

Provide expert technical advice, problem resolution, and technical audits of deliverables.
Ideal Candidate
-
Minimum of seven years in the industry, with sector experience in commercial, hotel, retail, and hotel design.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in project management and innovative project work.

Strong technical knowledge in building services design, particularly in the data centre sector.

Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership, with a degree in Building Services Engineering or equivalent.

Commercially aware, hands-on approach, and ethical conduct in line with the Ethics Charter and Practice Guidelines.
