Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Project Management: Design, manage, and supervise projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to client briefs, technical requirements, and deadlines.

• Client Interaction: Establish client briefs, technical requirements, scope of works, and cost plans. Maintain excellent client relationships to achieve high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.

• Team Collaboration: Liaise with the design team to produce coordinated designs that are technically compliant and of consistent quality. Contribute positively to design/project meetings and maintain regular in-house design reviews.

• Engineering Excellence: Carry out engineering concept design, tender, and contract supervision on-site. Ensure projects are undertaken in accordance with design briefs and completion deadlines.

• Support and Development: Provide support to other departments, including Sustainability and Technical Management. Assist in identifying and implementing personal training and CPD requirements.

• Quality Assurance: Implement and manage QA systems and procedures on all projects. Ensure designs comply with CDM regulations and ISO9001/ISO4001 standards.

• Site Inspections: Manage and participate in site inspections and Building Service audits, including condition surveys, dilapidations, due diligence, PPM, and acquisition reports.

• Financial Monitoring: Monitor and control project progress, design variations, and project financial budgets.

• Business Development: Pursue new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
