Senior Mechanical Engineer

Role and Responsibilities: 

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will:

• Lead Project Management: Oversee medium to large-scale projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.

• Design and Development: Create and finalize engineering design solutions for mechanical services elements.

• Client Liaison: Maintain direct communication with clients and other design team professionals.

• Site Inspections: Conduct regular project meetings, site inspections, and monitor works at a site level.

• Technical Expertise: Handle HVAC, hot and cold water systems, compressed air, steam, foul drainage, and building management systems.

• Documentation: Prepare technical specifications, reports, and drawn information.

• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues early, manage project risks, and peer review designs.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum five years of post-graduate ‘hands-on’ design experience in building services consultancy.

• Education: Degree in building services/architectural engineering; Chartered Engineer (CEng) with CIBSE or IMechE.

• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Autodesk Revit MEP, Cymap, and ideally EDSL Tas.

• Attributes: High attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication skills.
