Job Title: Design Coordinator

Location: Snowdonia, North Wales
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum plus car & accommodation allowance
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Design Coordinator to join our team on a permanent basis in Snowdonia. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a project in one of the UK’s most beautiful regions.

You’ll be responsible for managing and coordinating design information between consultants, contractors, and the construction team. You’ll make sure that designs are practical, buildable, and delivered on time to support smooth progress on-site.

This role is ideal for someone who has previously worked in a similar position with a Tier 1 contractor and is familiar with large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Coordinate all aspects of design work across the project

  • Review drawings and design documents to ensure they meet project requirements

  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and the site team to resolve design issues

  • Track design changes and ensure the latest versions are available to everyone who needs them

  • Attend design and project meetings and provide updates to the wider team

  • Help manage design-related risks and make sure design works are delivered to time, cost, and quality standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Design Coordinator (or similar role)

  • Experience working with a Tier 1 contractor on large construction or infrastructure projects

  • Strong understanding of construction processes and design stages

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

  • Great communication and organisational skills

  • Comfortable working with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams

  • Good working knowledge of common design and construction software

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Relevant qualifications in construction, architecture, or engineering

  • Experience working on civil engineering or infrastructure projects

  • Familiarity with digital design tools such as BIM
