Are you an experienced Commissioning Manager with a passion for ensuring building systems operate at peak performance? Our client, a leading consultancy known for their expertise in commissioning management across various sectors, is looking for a dedicated professional to oversee and manage commissioning processes on diverse projects.

With a strong emphasis on quality, compliance, and collaboration, this role offers the chance to work on high-profile projects, ensuring they meet stringent performance criteria and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee commissioning activities from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.

• Develop comprehensive commissioning strategies, plans, and schedules tailored to each project’s unique requirements.

• Conduct thorough commissioning reviews, ensuring designs are practical and meet performance standards.

• Lead on-site and off-site testing, including factory acceptance tests, and document results meticulously.

• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients to coordinate commissioning activities and resolve issues promptly.

• Ensure all commissioning processes adhere to relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.

• Produce detailed progress reports, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and solutions.

• Oversee post-occupancy evaluations, seasonal testing, and soft landings to ensure sustained building performance.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven track record in commissioning management, particularly within building services or related sectors.

• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Familiarity with CIBSE, BSRIA, BREEAM, and LEED guidelines.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of leading meetings and coordinating diverse teams.

• Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.

• Relevant engineering qualifications; CSA Level 4 certification or equivalent is advantageous.
