Senior Project Manager – Data Center Construction

Full-Time | U.S.-Based | On-Site (Project-Based)

We’re hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of cutting-edge data center construction projects across the U.S. You’ll play a critical role in turning aggressive capacity goals into real-world infrastructure, managing every phase from design to handover — with a laser focus on cost, schedule, and quality.

If you’re an experienced builder who thrives in high-stakes environments and enjoys cross-functional leadership, this is your opportunity to work on projects that power the future of AI and high-performance computing.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead all phases of data center construction projects: from planning and procurement to buildout and commissioning

  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project

  • Own project budgeting, forecasting, and change management, including weekly earned-value tracking

  • Identify and mitigate risks tied to long-lead equipment (e.g., transformers, chillers, switchgear)

  • Run phase-gate design reviews (30/60/90%), maintain RACI charts, and coordinate action items

  • Oversee the contracting process: RFP issuance, bid reviews, awards, and PCO tracking through closeout

  • Provide consistent, data-driven status updates to internal stakeholders and executive teams

  • Act as the on-site lead, ensuring alignment across trades, vendors, and internal teams

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of project management experience in data centers, industrial, or mission-critical infrastructure

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline

  • Deep understanding of CSA and MEP scopes, construction sequencing, and risk management

  • Proficiency with:

    • Scheduling tools: Primavera P6, MS Project

    • Cost tracking: Procore, Ares, Excel

    • Collaboration tools: Smartsheet, Confluence

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification (preferred)

  • Strong communication skills — able to interface confidently with trades, vendors, and executives

Work Location

  • U.S.-based candidates only

  • Role is on-site at data center locations (travel required; site assignments vary by project)
