Role Overview: We are seeking a fully experienced Associate Design Manager to join our London office. The ideal candidate will inspire others and be responsible for running major projects. This role involves team management, project coordination, and ensuring engineering services meet robust industry and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage major projects, including mechanical and electrical installations.

  • Conduct cost and profit diagnosis, feasibility studies, and prepare fee bids.

  • Develop and specify applications for building engineering services.

  • Ensure compliance with functional specifications and customer requirements.

  • Represent the company at technical meetings with clients and contractors.

  • Lead the coordination of engineering services and ensure effective risk and performance monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • BSc/BEng in an appropriate engineering discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Chartered Engineer status (MCIBSE/MIEE) or HND/HNC with relevant experience.

  • Significant experience in specification design for various building types.

  • Strong knowledge of health and safety issues, contract and business law.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and IT-based calculation software.

  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and presentation skills.
